These gloves do exactly what it says on the tin. I am riding in temps down to 4-5 degrees Celsius and set on full these gloves actually keep my hands too hot. I use them mainly at medium and they easily last 4-5 hours at that. They are well made and seem to have all the correct protection built in. They have made a huge difference to my riding enjoyment as warm hands compared to painfully cold ones is a night and day difference.
